    Primal Nature?

    Recently I made an alt and, reasonably, bought a level and a story skip (To Stormblood). Thing is, I can't unlock the quest "Primal Nature" for whatever reason. I can unlock all the other EX quests in ARR just fine but it only seems to be this one that is giving me trouble.

    Any suggestions on how to make it all work?

    Hi Thetah,

    The requirements for Primal Nature are completing The Navel(Hard) and the Titan Hard Mode unlock quest, which necessitates the completion of The Navel (Hard) itself. However, since you used a story skip, both the quest and the instance should be checked as complete for you, as completing Titan Hard is mandatory to begin the patch 2.5 story quests, and you need to enter the instance again as part of patch 3.4 story quests. Can you see Primal Nature offered by Urianger in the Waking Sands? If you can, what does the quest box say when you try to accept, there should be red writing detailing the necessary unlock requirements you haven't met. If not, are the quests for Ifrit, Garuda and Titan Hard marked as complete in your journal? I have never used the story skip myself so do not know the full effects of it.

    The quest will be completed as part of the story skip, and the trial should be available, but it isn't marked complete until you have personally done it.

    Ah okay, then there is the most likely problem Theta. Complete The Navel(Hard) if you haven't and Primal Nature should be available.
